Aumovio is moving its SAP landscape into the cloud through a strategic collaboration with the provider. The transformation aims to deliver greater flexibility, faster update cycles and a modern digital backbone for the company’s next growth phase.

Aumovio, the technology and electronics brand spun out of Continental, is accelerating its push for greater organisational autonomy by shifting large parts of its IT environment into the cloud. The company aims to streamline costs, create a more scalable digital foundation and give its teams the agility required to support future mobility technologies. At the centre of this shift is a long-term alliance with SAP, through which Aumovio is modernising its entire ERP landscape and preparing for faster, more distributed innovation across the organisation.

Alongside the camera, radar is the fundamental sensor technology for ADAS and automated driving. However, radar offers many additional possibilities, and with Antenna in Package (AiP), there is a complete radar solution in a chip package.

The cloud-hosted platform is designed to integrate key business applications, harmonise data across global sites and provide real-time visibility for decision-makers. By reducing fragmented processes and strengthening supply chain transparency, Aumovio expects to create more resilient operations with reduced risk exposure. The company emphasises that continuous process optimisation and real-time data access will help raise both efficiency and customer satisfaction over time.

Migration will begin later this year using a “lift and shift” approach — transferring existing systems into the new cloud architecture without major re-engineering. This method enables rapid progress while establishing a solid base for subsequent digital enhancements. Company leadership highlights that the early transformation steps have already demonstrated a noticeable increase in organisational speed, supported by close collaboration between IT and procurement teams.
