GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has announced a strategic expansion of its long-standing partnership with Elektrobit. The extended alliance aims to accelerate the development and market adoption of next generation SDV platforms.
As part of the cooperation, GlobalLogic contributes
extensive expertise in high-performance computing, functional
safety and cybersecurity. This is intended to support automotive
manufacturers and suppliers in meeting key industry standards such as ASPICE
4.0 and the automotive cybersecurity regulation ISO 21434.
GlobalLogic and Elektrobit have been working together for
more than 15 years, covering areas including Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR
middleware, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems
and connectivity solutions. With the
strengthened partnership, the companies are moving beyond traditional
engineering services towards a shared commitment to making vehicle software
development at scale smarter, faster and more cost-efficient.
In addition, the collaboration is designed to drive the
readiness for market of software-centric vehicle
platforms across major global regions. The partners are addressing
growing industry pressure to shorten development cycles while managing the
increasing complexity of modern vehicle software architectures.
Automobil-Elektronik Kongress (AEK) 2026
On 16 and 17 June 2026, the International
Automobil-Elektronik Kongress (AEK) will take place for the 30th time. For
many years, this networking congress has been a key meeting point for top
decision-makers in the electrical and electronics industry. Now, it also brings
together automotive executives and relevant high-level managers from the tech
sector to jointly shape the holistic customer experience required for the
vehicles of the future.
Despite its growing international reach, participants still
often refer to the Automotive Electronics Congress as something of an “automotive
family reunion”.
